PM HOSTS BUSINESS SUMMIT AT HAMPTON COURT PALACE
Prime Minster Rishi Sunak welcomed senior figures of the business community to a summit at Hampton Court Palace in an effort to attract global investment to Britain as being at the “heart” of his growth plans for the country.
The PM mingled with top chief executives and investors at the Global Investment Summit in the venue’s grand and historic surroundings – the home of Henry V111.
With new funding pouring into key industries like clean energy, life sciences and advanced technology, inward investment is creating high-quality new jobs and driving growth right across the country.
The summit was attended by bosses from Blackstone, Aviva, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase amongst others.
He added: “Attracting global investment is at the heart of my plan for growing the economy. With new funding pouring into key industries like clean energy, life sciences and advanced technology, inward investment is creating high-quality new jobs and driving growth right across the country.”
