TEDDINGTON’S LANDMARK ARTS CENTRE SEEKS NEW TRUSTEE

New financial-savvy Trustee required for the Landmark

 

The Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington is seeking a qualified and forward-thinking finance specialist to join the Board of Trustees as part of succession management,

The  Centre, a registered charity, is seeking a trustee with this specialism to help guide on a growth path and help provide oversight of financial matters to the board.

A spokesperson says: “We have good financial practices in place, outsourced bookkeeping and accountancy.”

The full board of Trustees meet 4-5 times a year and the Finance Sub Committee also meets 4-6 times a year. As a trustee this is an unpaid role.

Ideal candidates will have some experience of working in an arts related organisation, knowledge of the charity sector and charity governance and VAT practices.

Candidates would be expected  to have a strong interest in the arts, be effective working in committees and would relish opportunities to help build a strong and impactful organisation.
