TEDDINGTON’S SWIM SENSATION CLIMBS SIXTEEN PLACES UP THE RANKINGS

Waldegrave School pupil Ava increased her rankings in 200 metre backstroke event

 

Teddington Swimming Club’s Ava Holt recorded a personal best moved SIXTEEN places up the rankings in a brilliant performance in the GB Aquatics Swimming Championships in London.

Seventeen year old Ava, who attends Waldegrave School in Teddington, and swims in the 200 metre backstroke event is one of the country’s brightest hopes for the future.

A delighted spokesperson for Teddington Swimming Club said: “A huge well done to Ava for an outstanding race at her first ever British Champs, swimming on PB  as well as climbing 16 places up the rankings!

“This has been a brilliant experience for Ava and sets her up perfectly for the rest of the season. Hopefully, she will have inspired even more of our swimmers to qualify for next year’s event.”
