England’s Lionesses have set up camp on the banks of the River Thames at the Lensbury resort in Teddington before their second Euro qualifier against the Republic of Ireland tomorrow (tuesday)

Tomorrow’s match follows the European Champions disappointing start to their 2025 campaign at Wembley Stadium when they were held to a 1-1 draw.

The team were based at The Lensbury part of the time during their triumphant campaign when they beat Germany in extra time at Wembley in July 2022 and the Lensbury provided the backdrop to their celebrations.

The squad were put through their paces at the Lensbury over the weekend where they happily posed for photos and signed autographs for the thrilled members of the club.

The St George’s flag hung proudly at the front of the hotel.

Only the top two teams from their group qualify automatically for next summer’s Euros in Switzerland, with the other two sides entering the play-offs.

They also face France, ranked third in the world, and they travel to Dublin on Tuesday to take on the Republic of Ireland at the Avia Stadium (19:30 BST kick-off).
