TRAIN STATION VICTIM WAS MAN IN HIS 30’S

The in-named victim of the fatal incident at Teddington station was a man in his 30’s, British Transport police said today.
The incident was reported to police between Kingston and Teddington at around 5am last Wednesday.
The person, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after. No name has been released.
The incident is not thought to be suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
All trains were cancelled for several hours causing major commuter disruption as the incident was dealt with.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Police received a report shortly after 5am today (24 April) to a casualty on the tracks near Teddington station.
“The incident is not thought to be suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
