NEW TEDDINGTON DELI OPENS TODAY (THURS)

A brand new deli in Teddington’s High Street will open its doors for  business as part of the expanding Cafe Benedict empire today (thursday)

Parsnips Delicatessan will open alongside the Parsnips Cafe and the popular and original Cafe Benedict in the High Street set up by businessman Ben Phillips.

The amazing success of Cafe Benedict and the Parsnips Cafe and the loyalty he has inspired amongst the Teddington community has convinced owner Ben Phillips to set up the deli in the premises previously occupied by The Larder.

Ben told Teddington Town: “I love Teddington. This is now my family’s home for the last 3 years and we don’t intend of ever moving again.

“I have never met such a welcoming, warm and inclusive community than the one we have met in Teddington.

“They have been so supportive to me (especially through covid) so much so that and I am very proud to be opening my third business in Teddington.

“Parsnips, named after my dog, is opening its doors on Thursday. It is a delicatessen specialising in British cheeses, charcuterie, smoked fish, fresh fruit & vegetables, wonderful treats, locally produced fayre, pork pies, spices, traditional sweets and much much more.

“It has been a lot of hard work to get to where we are with the deli and I really couldn’t have done it without my amazing team.

“Big shout out to Linda, Martin and Madi, the management team  at Parsnips they really are amazing but the whole team deserve credit for making what we hope will be a popular place for the good people of Teddington to come and fill their larders.”

The delicatessan will be open from 9am until 7pm Monday until Saturday and 9am until 5pm on Sundays.
