MOTORCYCLIST NABBED BY BUSHY PARK COPS
A food delivery motorcyclist was detained by Royal Parks police after trying to take a short cut through Chestnut Avenue in Bushy Park, it was revealed today.
A routine police patrol in the park stopped the motorcyclist and checks revealed he did not have valid business insurance.
He was reported for having no insurance and going through a No Entry sign.
His motorcycle, which carried L plates, was also seized by police.
Chestnut Avenue has been closed to through traffic from Teddington Gate to Hampton Court Gate with clear barriers visible but several motorists have been reported for sneaking through.
A motorist was fined £650 for driving through the park and received 3 points on their licence.
