MP CALLS FOR BAN ON NIGHT FLIGHTS
Local Lib Dem MP Munira Wilson is calling for a ban on night flights at Heathrow Airport.
She says: “Night flights are known to lead to greater health risks, lost productivity and disrupted sleep, which is why I want a ban on night flights at Heathrow Airport.
“The status quo is not acceptable, yet the Government is proposing that we keep the current regime for another three years.
“I say that residents shouldn’t have to endure a disrupted night’s sleep another year longer.
“The Government’s consultation on night flights closes on 22 May.”
