NEW TV SERIES SETS UP BASE IN BUSHY PARK
The Upper Lodge car park in Bushy Park has been turned into a filming base for a third series of the police drama, Chelsea Detective, Teddington News can reveal.
The car park was jammed full of filming trucks, catering facilities, chauffeur driven cars as well as police ‘prop’ car.
According to one woman, she had been summoned at short notice to provide a well-trained dog and lighting equipment could also be seen.
Another security official said a ‘crime scene’ for the series had been created at the nearby allotments.
The third season sees DI Max Arnold and DS Layla Walsh delving once more into the murky crimes of glamorous Chelsea, including the tragic death of a 2000s popstar, the impenetrable world of the US Embassy, the splendour of Kew Gardens, a classical music academy, and a climate scientist found dead in a supercar.
