MARKS & SPENCER CONFIRM SUMMER SHUTDOWN
Teddington’s Marks & Spencer Foodhall in High Street today confirmed its temporary closure from next Monday for a ‘refresh.’
Teddington Town broke the surprise news two weeks ago but the eye-catching signage only appear on the windows today (Thursday)
It’s understood the refresh and upgrade of the popular store will take up to seven weeks and reopen in the last week of August.
The large signs say: ‘Your new and improved store will open August 2024. ‘
The summer closure offers a big boost to other local supermarkets like Sainsbury’s in the High Street and Tesco’s in Broad Street as well as independent retailers in the area.
