BUSINESS IS BRISK AT TEDDINGTON POLLING STATION
Election officials on duty at Teddington Library polling station in Waldegrave Road reported a ‘steady flow’ of voters before midday today.
The three tellers were checking for polling cards and appropriate identification and said 40% did not have their polling cards.
The polling stations opened at 7am and will close at 10pm tonight. Lib Dem candidate Munira Wilson is fighting to retain her seat with rival candidates from the Conservatives, Labour and the Green Party.
The first reliable Exit polls are expected mid evening with political pundits predicting a landslide win for Labour and making Sir Keir Starmer Prime Minister.
