POLICE REVEAL E-SCOOTER USED TO CHASE DEER IN BUSHY PARK
Police have revealed details of an incident in Bushy Park where an e-scooter rider chased a herd of deer, causing significant distress.
The use of e-scooters is strictly forbidden in all of the Royal Parks.
A spokesperson said: “While fortunately no-one was harmed on this occasion, the deer became extremely distressed.
“This could have led to serious accidents involving other park visitors and harm to the herd.”
The Royals Parks emphasis that ‘response to criminal activity’ is enforced by the Metropolitan Police.
