TEDDINGTON TRAIN SERVICES HIT BY INCIDENT
Train services to and from Teddington were affected this afternoon following an incident on the track between New Malden and Weybridge.
Trains were delayed or cancelled altogether.
Reports of a person being struck by a train around 3.30pm caused immediate disruption across the South West Railway network.
A spokesperson said the emergency services dealing with an incident between Wimbledon and New Malden means that trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 70 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
At present trains are unable to run on any lines between New Malden and Woking.
Where possible, trains will be diverted via alternative routes between London Waterloo and Woking / Guildford.
