This momentous day marks the birthdays of Gavin and Stacey star and TV host James Corden, who will be 45 and singer Dua Lipa, will be 28 and this is THE DAY that Teddington’s Marks & Spencer Food Hall will reopen.
The eagerly-awaited day has been anticipated with a degree of excitement locally as its closure since June 24 has really shown how much local people love the store and have really missed it during the store’s six week refurbishment.
Closure of the car park has also impacted shoppers.
Store staff were called in last week for training sessions and it is thought as well as shiny new display units there will be many many more self-service tills which will speed up service for the customers.
Other retailers in the High Street have felt the pinch since the closure because of the significant decline in footfall with customers often visiting other shops when they do their shopping at M & S.
