Teddington’s M & S Food Hall store reopened this morning at 9am, after undergoing a full makeover to deliver a better shopping experience for customers.
Store Manager Anthony Phillip was joined by long-serving colleague Nick Seeney and special guest Percy Pig to cut the ribbon and officially declare the store back open.
The transformed 9k sq ft fresh market-style M&S Food offers fresh seasonal produce, sourced from M&S’ Select Farmers, an in-store bakery serving a selection of bread and pastries including the retailer’s popular Collection Sourdough – each loaf made through a 30-hour process.
Customers can also find a dedicated Flower Shop, Wine Shop and Frozen section as well as Click & Collect point for online orders – and the best of M&S’ newly launched products.
The retailer recently launched its brand-new range of confectionary products including Marks Choc bars and Swiss Caramel and Milk Chocolate Crispy Clouds.
As part of its promise to deliver trusted value for customers – great value products which never compromise on quality or sourcing – customers can also find over 100 Remarkable value everyday staples and Dropped & Locked products.
Anthony Phillip, Store Manager at M&S Teddington who leads the 76-strong store team, said: “It is fantastic to now be back open and I still can’t believe how different the store looks.
“The response from customers this morning has been brilliant – from queuing outside before we opened to selfies with Percy and amazing feedback on how much better it is to shop here now.
“I want to say a massive thanks to all our customers who have been waiting patiently the past few months. The team and I are so excited to be back serving the community and I would encourage everyone to come and see the store for themselves!”
Regular opening times are 8am and 9pm, Monday to Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
