THE CIRCUS IS COMING TO TOWN..
Zippo’s circus is coming to town and setting up home on Twickenham Green from the 11th until 16th September.
It’s your chance to see an international cast performing on the historic site of Twickenham Green and marking 50 years since it was founded by Martin Burton.
The new show which started on Blackheath Common in March 2024 has been touring and wowing audiences all over the UK.
There will also be a new seating arrangement in the Big Top making it easier for everyone to see the show wherever they sit including spaces for wheelchairs.
It is no mean feat erecting a huge canvas tent with multiple tiers of seats but with all hands on deck including the performers, there is a strict plan of action to get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible.
And after a week it all comes down again, is packed up in trucks and moved to the next location.
