TEDDINGTON’S FISH OF THE DAY (11.30am until 1.30pm)
Wednesday is fish van day for Teddington’s High Street.
The van will be parked outside Elements hairdressers from 11.30am to 1.30pm every Wednesday selling a wide range of fish, mostly freshly caught in Grimsby and Scotland.
The white van from Fresh Grimsby Fish has been visiting Teddington High Street for the last eight weeks and has also been a regular visitor to Bridge Road, East Molsey on Tuesday evenings.
Grimsby-born owner Bradley Taylor is particularly proud of the quality of his halibut and salmon.
He told Teddington Town today: “People had been telling me for a long time that I should visit Teddington and I am glad I took their advice. Everyone has been very supportive and welcoming.
“Business has been steady so far but it does take some time for word to spread and I am hoping it really picks up towards Christmas.”
