The post box on Kingston Road has undergone a Remembrance Day makeover with a stunning homemade Poppy tribute.

The Poppy post box ‘topper’  was created by local resident Denise Lloyd and has sparked lots of complimentary comments across local social media channels.

Local commemorations will take place on Sunday morning (November 10) when local groups, including scouts, sea cadets, the police, representatives of the local RNLI, The Teddington Society, military veterans and even ponies from Park Lane Stables gather in Kingston Lane opposite the Royal British Legion HQ to begin the traditional procession for the Act of Remembrance at or around 11am, at Teddington Cenotaph outside the Memorial Hospital.

There will be a two minute silence at 11am.
