SIXTEEN YEAR OLD CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH TEDDINGTON OFFENCES
A 16 year old youth has been charged in connection with offences of assault and criminal damage in Teddington, local police have revealed.
According to police, the charge follows ‘joint investigations’ by police and retailers but no further details were available.
The teenager has been released on bail to attend Wimbledon Youth Court next month.
Local police have stepped up their patrols in the Teddington area following concerns expressed by retailers of an increase in incidents of shoplifting, burglary and vandalism.
A police spokesperson said: “Many thanks to all involved in identification of this suspect.”
Teddington Town has requested more detail from the police.
