Teddington’s new Saturday morning market TED’S MARKET in the car park of The King’s Head pub takes place this weekend with a festive theme.

Mulled wine and Baileys hot chocolate will be served by the pub and traditional Christmas songs will be played.

The first market, which has been approved by Richmond Council, attracted nearly 2000 visitors . It is open from 9am until 2pm.

As well as the original traders which included stalls selling bread and pastries, fruit and veg, meat and fresh soups and Indian food there will also be fresh fish from the Wild Fish Project.

Market organiser Jack Pass said: “We were delighted with the response to our first market last month and we are hooping we can build on that especially being so close to Christmas when families are out and about on the High Street.”

The market is supported by the Teddington Lottery (www.teddingtonlottery.co.uk) which supports local good causes and is also a sponsor of the Teddington Lights Up event on Thursday evening.

You can support a local cause close to your home and close to your heart by playing the Teddington Lottery where prizes range from a £25.000 jackpot to three free tickets.
