LOCAL MP REVEALS SHE WILL VOTE AGAINST ASSISTED DYING BILL
Local Liberal Democrat MP Munira Wilson has revealed that she will vote against the controversial Assisted Dying Bill, which will be a free vote in the House of Commons today (Fri)
The MP admits she is ‘torn on the issue’ but believes the current bill as it stands is ‘rushed and deeply flawed.’
She believes that more ‘evidence, preparatory work and information’ was needed before a Bill was brought before Parliament although she accepts her stance will be ‘disappointing and upsetting’ for some constituents, who have contacted her.
