SHIRE HORSES SET OFF ON THEIR CARRIAGE RIDES IN BUSHY PARK
The shire horses were on parade today (sunday) providing carriage rides through Bushy Park.
The first two horses to set off from the Pheasantry starting point were William (left) and Henry with a carriage full of well wrapped up passengers.
The high winds mean the Woodland Gardens and the playground were closed.
The £15 per person rides take place from 21 – 24 December 2024, from 10.30 to 14.00 and all the proceeds support sustainable conservation schemes in the Park.
Children under two years can ride on adult’s lap for free and rides will operate in all-weather unless the Park issues a safety warning about conditions.
