Hampton & Richmond Football Club has unveiled its exciting vision for the future which will include a £2million massive upgrade in the stadium structure and its surroundings as well as enhancing the fan experience and embracing sustainability, Teddington Town can reveal.
So far, over £1m has been invested in reviving crumbling facilities including £150k on electrical upgrades.
A spokesperson said: “Most fans will not have realised it, but we’re proud to have elevated their match day experience and secured the future of the Beveree stadium for years to come.”
The stadium revamp proposal includes creating an authentic community hub:
- A vibrant space for locals and fans.
- Upgraded Academy and Fan Zone:
- Boost student programs and match day hospitality.
- Gym Access:
- Exclusively for academy students and season ticket holders.
- Modern Facilities:
- Media tower, club shop, offices, tunnel, and bar.
- Terraced Social Zone:
- Expanded Food and Beverage, open beyond match days.
- Revamped Changing Rooms:
- Better comfort, better performance.
- Enhanced Pitch with new floodlights and irrigation for top-tier play.
The Club says it has received ‘encouraging feedback’ from Richmond Borough Council but the full planning application seeking a 125 year lease has yet to be submitted.
The spokesperson added: “Huge thanks to the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames for believing in a brighter future for the club.These designs reflect our vision.”
