SAINSBURY’S OPENING PHOTO SPECIAL

The new Sainsbury’s Local in Hampton Wick opened its doors with a big welcome from customers today (thursday)

The new store, which has opened after less than six months of planning permission being given, will be open from 7am until 11pm and has a licence to sell alcohol between those times and has created FOURTEEN new local jobs.

The store, which is convenient to Hampton Wick railway station, also sells newspapers and magazines and features:

  • A carefully curated range of delicious Sainsbury’s food, as well as a selection of other convenience products
  • An Argos Click & Collect point
  • An instore bakery offering bread and pastries baked daily in store
  • Costa Coffee machine

David Pilbeam, Sainsbury’s Director of Acquisitions, Capital Projects and Engineering, told Teddington Town: “We’re passionate about delicious food and we want to make it easier for customers to access it wherever we can, so we’re delighted to have launched our newest Sainsbury’s Local in Hampton Wick this morning.

“We hope our investment in this part of the high street, creating jobs and a convenient new place for people to shop locally, will be a great addition to the community and that customers will benefit from it for years to come.”
