NEW TABLES AND CHAIRS FOR TEDDINGTON LOCK COFFEE TRUCK

Three sets of bright orange tables and chairs appeared outside The Stop coffee truck overlooking Teddington Lock today.
Three tables, each with two chairs, were positioned outside the truck on the grass bank and offering a great view of the lock and the river while enjoying a cup of coffee.
The coffee truck had its busiest time since appearing at the weekend when the sunny weather attracted hundreds of walkers, cyclists and joggers to the towpath.
The owners hope to make a more permanent base outside the truck and to possibly fit parasols to the tables in the summer.
The Stop is open every day on the Ham side of Teddington footbridge and serves coffee and tea and cakes and bacon sandwiches from 8am to 4pm. Opening hours will be extended in the summer when it hoped ice cream will also be on the menu.
