The riverside Flying Cloud cafe opened for business on one of the coldest days of the month with the temperature hovering around 5 degrees but a strong wind making it feel even chillier on the river.

Trade picked up during the morning with owner Justine Broome wrapped up warm to serve the steady flow of customers eager to warm themselves up with a coffee and a piece of home made cake.

The popular cafe next to The Boat Shop and opposite the Anglers Pub will be open from 8am until 4pm but the times may change as the weather gets better.
