**The old telephone box doubles as an ATM and a ‘phone box – the only one in the High Street**

**The little-used phone box and ATM machine (which charges for withdrawals) is right next to the old Telephone Exchange**

The police Teddington Safe Neighbourhood Team has issued a public thank-you to two alert residents who helped them make an arrest.

According to the Team, they ‘guided our response teams’ to the High Street, Teddington.

The local police team said: “We arrested a suspect who has broken into phone box & collected change.”

No further details were available about the amount of money involved or exactly when the incident took place. Teddington Town has requested more information.
