LANDMARK’S NEW SEATING IS ON SHOW AT CHOIR FESTIVAL

The Festival of Choirs at Teddington’s Landmark Arts Centre gave an audience the first glimpse of the new tiered seating set up today.
The 90 minute performance included a wide range of songs from different music genres with all the resident choirs, the Landmark Singers, Landmark Sound and Mansong as well as invited guest choirs.
The newly installed seating system offers a much improved sightline and audio experience with high-backed seats.
It is motorised and folds away neatly and flexibly to the width of just one chair.
Together with the recent new flooring, replacing the previous carpet, this project was funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The new flooring was used last month for a sleepover by local Guides groups.
Next month, 10 May, will see the first ever Tea Dance event at the Landmark with Mr Wonderful a professional Ballroom and Latin dance teacher.
This event starts at noon with an optional introduction class (£3) followed by the event from 1.30pm – 4.30pm.
Early Bird tickets now on sale for £10 from www.landmarkartscentre.org an include tea and cake.
