Arts Richmond has announced details of its annual writing competition for all local young people. The competition is open to all young people who live or attend schools or clubs in the Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

There are two themes: ‘My World’ and ‘Something Extraordinary’. Children can write a short story of up to 500 words or a poem of up to 25 lines. The entries will be judged in four age groups with prizes for all winning entries.

December 5th is the deadline for submissions and all shortlisted writers will be invited to an awards ceremony at The Exchange Theatre in Twickenham on 15th March.
