TEDDINGTON’S ROASTING RIVIERA….



The river around Teddington was turn into a giant water park with swimmers, paddle boarders and sailors taking advantage of the heatwave.
The fun and frolics was in stark contrast to the plans by Thames Water for a giant sewage filtering scheme and the area towards Kingston being designated as an official bathing site.
Over 200 swimmers cooled off in the river just days after the spot between Ham and Kingston was awarded its official status after a major campaign by the local swimming group, The Bluetits.
