BUILDERS PUB IN TEDDINGTON HOSTS BIG CHARITY DAY

The community pub The Builders Arms in Teddington is hosting a big day this Sunday (June 7) for the charity REFUGE UK which supports women and children impacted by domestic violence.
THIS IS THEIR INSPIRATION:
We are raising money for REFUGE UK, supporting women and children experiencing domestic abuse.
The cause is deeply personal to us.
Last year, a family member of a local resident survived a brutal attack by her ex-partner, which left her tetraplegic and changed her life forever.
What happened to her is devastating but it’s not as rare as many people think.
Domestic abuse doesn’t always start with violence. It can begin with coervice control, isolation and emotional abuse, often hidden behind closed doors.
It can happen to anyone, regardless of age, background or circumstances.
Too many women feel trapped, unheard or unable to access help.
That’s why organisations like REFUGE are so vital. They provide safe spaces, support and a lifeline for this trying to escape abuse and rebuild their lives.
By coming along, you’re not just supporting a fundraiser, you’re helping raise awareness, challenge silence and show that no-one has to face this alone.
COME ALONG: “Fun for all. Support for those who need it most.”
