ANT & DEC FILMING AT TEDDINGTON’s ROOTS RESTAURANT

PHOTO EXCLUSIVE:
TV’s best-known and award-winning double-act Ant & Dec were spotted outside of Teddington’s Indian restaurant, Roots, this week.
Teddington Town has learned the duo were filming part of an episode of their new series Accidental Tourist for ITVX with comedian Stephen Mulhern.
In the comedy-travel series, Ant and Dec act as executive producers and masterminds who send a sheltered Mulhern—who prefers familiar Algarve or Disney World holidays—far out of his comfort zone to explore unfamiliar global cultures and face his fears.
The show originally premiered as a one-off special on ITV1 and ITVX. Following its massive success, ITV commissioned a full series consisting of three new episodes.
You can watch episodes and catch up with his first adventurous trip to South Korea to face his fears by experiencing raw seafood, extreme acupuncture, and a nerve-wracking freedive.
For a look at the kind of culture shock and hilarious reactions Stephen faces when Ant and Dec send him on these wild assignments go to ITVX.
