WHERE TO WATCH THE FIFA WORLD CUP WITHOUT TICKETS AND COSTLY FLIGHTS….. IN TEDDINGTON – STARTING ON THE 11th JUNE
The FIFA World Cup starts a week today with Mexico City v South Africa at Mexico City – the first match of 104 altogether with a record number of FORTY EIGHT teams competing for the coveted Jules Rimet trophy, lifted by Bobby Moore and England SIXTY years ago at Wembley on July 30th 1966 when England beat West Germany 4-2 in extra time.
Local pubs will be showing many of the matches, many of which kick off at 9pm including England’s opener against Croatia but demand will be high and tables will need to be booked well in advance. Here’s an early guide to where to watch although many pubs are still finalising their plans.
