TEDDINGTON SCHOOL PUPILS ARE WORLD FAMOUS AS WIMBLEDON BALL BOYS AND GIRLS
Teddington School has provided many of the ball boys and girls for the Wimbledon tennis championships including the show courts like Centre and Number One, we can reveal.
Those selected spend ten months training for their crucial roles which come under massive scrutiny with global audiences for Wimbledon reaching into the billions.
Head teacher Paul Grills said: “We are incredibly proud of our boys and girls who have spent the last ten months training as Wimbledon Ball Boys and Ball Girls.
“Their commitment, resilience and hard work have earned them the opportunity to be part of one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events, what an amazing achievement!
“A special congratulations goes to James, who has been selected to work on a show court.
“What a fantastic recognition of his dedication and performance.
“We wish all of our students the very best for an unforgettable Wimbledon experience.
