TOO HOT TO PLAY IN BUSHY PARK
The playground in Bushy Park was closed today as temperatures were expected to soar into the 30’s and make the metal bars and frames of the slides and swings too hot to touch.
A Bushy Park spokesperson said: “Please be aware that due to forecast temperatures of over 30 degrees today, metal play equipment will not be accessible in the Bushy Park playground.”
“We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.”
The park’s other facilities like the Diana Fountain Kiosk and the Pheasantry Cafe and the Woodland Gardens remain open as usual
