ANOTHER YEAR OF ‘A’ LEVEL TRIUMPH FOR TEDDINGTON SCHOOL
Teddington School today announced that it is ‘delighted’ to share another ‘exceptional’ set of A-level results.
Headteacher, Paul Grills, commented: “We are pleased to share another fantastic set of results that reflect the hard work, effort and resilience of our students, staff and wider school community.
“Once again, I am thrilled to celebrate the many achievements of our Year 13 students, and I wish them every success in their next steps, with many of them heading off to the country’s top universities.”
This year, 30% of students achieved A*-A grades, while 58% attained A*-B grades. Notably, 14 students secured A*-A grades across all of their chosen A-level subjects.
Within subjects, there were some standout performances.
Mathematics saw 51% of students attain A*-A grades, while Further Mathematics achieved an impressive 57%.
There were superb performances in the sciences, with 45% of students achieving A*-A grades in Chemistry, 44% in Biology and 39% in Physics. Within Languages, Arts and Humanities, 100% of students secured A*-A grades in French, 50% in Art and Design, and 33% in Geography.
Head of Sixth Form, Hollie Pleavin, added: “On behalf of all the staff, I would like to say how incredibly proud we are of our students.
“They have approached their studies with dedication and maturity, while fully embracing our school values.
“It has been a privilege to support them throughout their sixth form journey and we are excited to see the opportunities that lie ahead. We wish them every success and look forward to hearing about their future achievements.”
Specific highlights from individual students include Alp Hazendaroglu with A*A*A*A*, Alison Eyres with A*A*A* B, Harmony Chow with A*A*A A, Sophia Marsh with A*A*A A, Oliver Tarran with A*A*A and Annie Bates with A*A*A.
