ALL CHANGE AT THE BUILDERS ARMS

The manager of the community pub The Builders Arms, in Teddington which reopened in November 2024, is moving on, Teddington Town can reveal.
Barry Wilson introduced a series of community activities to the pub including partnerships with charities, quiz nights and a women’s darts team when the pub reopened.
As well as a loyal group of customers returning to their old haunt new customers have been attracted to the regular offering of live sport like the World Cup and the Six Nations rugby.
The pub in Field Land was saved by a local businessman after it had been closed for over two years.
The new manager, who takes over this weekend, is Matt, who is a familiar face locally, as he is moving down the road from his current job as manager at The King’s Head in the High Street.
One of his first challenges at The Builders Arms will be to introduce a range of food options to better compete with other local pubs like The Lion which was saved by a community initiative last year.
