UPDATE: PERSON HIT BY TRAIN NEAR TWICKENHAM
A spokesperson for British Transport Police told Teddington Town: “We were called to an area of the line in Twickenham shortly after 6pm yesterday following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Officers attended along with paramedics but sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances leading up to the death.”
