BUSHY PARK’S ‘PHOTO QUEEN’ RECEIVES LETTER FROM…….HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN

Bushy Park’s unofficial ‘photo queen’ Sue Lindenberg has been recognised for her efforts by Her Majesty The Queen, it was revealed today.
Queen Camilla recently learned of Sue’s amazing portfolio of photos of wildlife, sunrises and sunsets, which have delighted and inspired people.
Sue has captured beautiful images of the day unknown to most of us as she cycles to Bushy Park – sometimes as early as 5am – to witness the shifting colours and patterns of the sunrise and generously shares the photos across various outlets.
In a personal letter from Clarence House, Camilla wrote:
“Dear Sue,
“As you prepare to move from Bushy Park to Yorkshire I wanted to write to wish you well for your retirement. I know how much joy your stunning photographs have brought to so many people over the years and I am sure you will be much missed…..
“Good luck!”
The letter was signed with a hand-written message saying: “With my best wishes, Camilla”
Sue, 80, who is leaving her home in Teddington to be closer to her daughters in Hebden Bridge in early November, told Teddington Town she was ‘overwhelmed’ to receive the Queen’s letter.
She said: “This has all been such an unexpected surprise. I feel so honoured, I just can’t believe it – a letter from the Queen!
“I regard myself as just one of many photographers who frequent Bushy Park. Perhaps they are not as passionate about it as I am. I keep saying it, but sharing my photos is just a very small way of giving something back. I think many other people do the same.
“Everything about the park, the flora and fauna and lovely people I have met and got to know along the way mean so much to me and always will.”
Sue’s amazing photos have twice featured in the prestigious BBC Countryfile calendar as well as the annual Bushy and Home Parks calendar and regular images on social media platforms have delighted her followers, who have expressed their sadness at her move north.
Here are three more of Sue’s stunning photos from Teddington footbridge today, (saturday)
