Your Teddington and Hampton Wick, Your Say
Richmond Council’s recent ‘All in One’ survey asked residents for their feedback on they they feel needs improving across the borough. A huge total of over 13,500 people replied (roughly 17% of all households) and the Council are set to continue involving its residents in leading future decisions that affect their local areas.
The results have now been collated and a picture has emerged about what local people like about their locality and what needs improving. The next phase in this programme will involve nine planning events in ‘villages’ across the borough – based on areas within the survey itself that residents most identified with in Richmond Upon Thames.
During these events you will be able to see what feedback residents in your particular area gave, talk to others who are interested including local councillors, police and other representatives of local organisations. Further ideas and suggestions can also be put forward about community initiatives.
These events will form a starting point for drawing up action plans for each area (put together by local representatives).
Teddington and Hampton Wick’s meeting will take place on Saturday 25th June 10am-4pm at Elleray Hall. Residents are encouraged to attend and share ideas about how we can make the area even better.
