ROOFTOP BAR ROCKS ON THE RIVER
Spectacular views of the sunset and the River Thames were top of the menu as Sonnys Rooftop Bar reopened tonight (Thurs) overlooking Kingston Bridge.
Despite the chilly evening scores of guests attended the low-key reopening of the bar and enjoyed the exotic cocktails and pizzas as well as the stunning dusk views.
The rooftop bar is operated by local entrepreneur Sam Berry, who runs the riverside bistro. The Hideaway, Cento Uno in Surbiton and the Bone Idyll gin distillery.
Tonight’s launch party began around 5pm with free drinks including cocktails and warmed up later in the evening with a DJ as the sun went down.
Owner Sam said: “We’re back for 2026 with a fresh new vibe, and we’d love you to be among the first to experience it.
“Join us for an evening of cocktails on the terrace, sunset riverside vibes music, and freshly made pizza, as we bring Sonny’s back to life for the season.
“A chance to catch up, enjoy the river views, and celebrate the start of another great summer together.”
