The Ham Gate into Richmond Park was closed early today following a water leak, which appears to have lifted the tarmac just inside the gate.

A road closure sign was placed in front of the gates and early morning commuters who use the park to cut through to Putney were diverted.

Teddington Town has put a call into the Royal Parks requesting further information.
