Park Lane Stables is based in the heart of Teddington and offers horse riding lessons and hacks in Bushy Park. The stables are run by a friendly team of horse enthusiasts and fully qualified BHS Instructors.

As well as hacks and lessons in the park they also run a series of school holiday events such as “Own a pony mornings” where kids of all ages can learn about feeding, grooming and generally looking after the ponies before they ride them in the park afterwards. Also Summer Pony Camp – two days and one night of fun, games and camping in the secure grounds of a manor house in Richmond Park.

Year-round tailor-made pony parties also offer a great alternate location to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions.

Most days 9am-6pm (usually closed Mondays).

The stables used to be the local fire station from 1830 when fire-engines were horse-drawn. The fire-engine itself used to sit where the large doors/opening is now. Much of the surrounding land used to belong to the stables but was sold off over time.

The stables were closed for several years after the foot-and-mouth outbreak in 2001 and subsequent closure of Bushy Park but re-opened recently due to popular demand.
