Michael Wood is giving the Jeevika Trust Lecture 2016 for the Hampton Wick-based charity to help it raise much-needed funds to continue its work rural India. Drawing on his two landmark BBC TV series, Story of India and Story of China, along with slides and clips from his life as a film maker and traveller over three decades, Michael will talk about some of his favourite journeys, landscapes, cultures and stories. On the way he’ll explore some comparisons and contrasts between the world’s most ancient surviving civilisation and its oldest surviving state.
