Enjoy Halloween with a bang

EventsThe hugely popular NPL Sports Club fireworks display will take place this year on Saturday 31st October.

Gates open at 6pm, fireworks start at 7:30pm. Aside from the main event itself, there will also be a barbecue, beer festival and the Legendary Fish ‘n’ Chippendales live on stage to keep you occupied.

Tickets are available from NPL Sports Club pavilion bar:

Advance Adult: £6 Child: £2 Family: £15
Gate Adult: £8 Child: £3 Family: £20

.
If you haven’t been before, be assured that this is no small display! It’s very professionally organised and involves a lot of huge fireworks. You don’t have work at the NPL or be a member of the NPL Sports Club to attend.

There will be ghostly goings-on around the town this weekend including children’s Halloween parties on Friday the 30th at Red Peppers and Bar Estilo – Trick Or Treat, Fancy Dress and much more.

Parents might want to head down to Kitchen Sync that is stocking a selection of ghoulish kitchen-ware including pumpkin lanterns, Halloween-themed cookie cutters, cutlery and party masks. Teddington Essentials also has a good stock of Halloween goodies including pumpkin-carving kits and costumes: masks, capes, hats, plastic axes and knives. There is also a good selection of Treat/sweet bag collections in Tesco by the entrance.

The Anglers is also celebrating Halloween on the 31st with activities that include Trick Or Treat, Apple Bobbing, hog roast, face painting and fancy dress prizes. On Sunday 1st November the yearly firework display/bonfire also takes place at the Anglers with fire eaters, BBQ, hog-roast and mulled wine. Prize for the best ‘guy’. Entry is free but bring along some change for RNLI and Help for Heroes collections.

The Police Safer Neighbourhoods Team will be implimenting extra shifts to cover this busy time of year and ensure that the event is celebrated safely with as little anti-social behaviour as possible.

They are sending out these printable “No Trick or Treat” posters for those who don’t want tricksters knocking on their doors. Either print this off to display in your window or email teddington.snt@met.police.uk to request a copy.
