Teddington footbridge to close for maintenance
If you use the footbridge over the river regularly, you might want to make a note in your diary that it will be closed for maintenance 9:30am-3pm on Tuesday 26th – Wednesday 27th October 2010. ** Closure dates have been changed to the 28th & 29th October **.
This yearly temporary closure is necessary to renew the anti-skid surface on the bridge before winter sets in properly. As an official diversion, the nearest river crossing is Kingston Bridge.
