Vote for TCS in Telegraph Awards for Independents
Retail guru and ‘Queen of Shops’ Mary Portas is backing a competition by The Telegraph to find the best Independent Local Retailer.
Last year a similar competition saw shoppers voting for their favourite nationwide magazine shops but voting in categories for smaller independents highlighted how much we value the more rare treasured boutiques and businesses on our local high streets. Mary explains here why she is passionate in particular about this cause.
This years’ competition is solely focussed on small shops in a celebration of their place on the high street. TCS is asking their loyal customers and locals to vote for them if they believe they should win in the Women’s Fashion Category.
Winning such a prestigious award would support Teddington High Street and help promote the town’s retail excellence and putting it firmly on the shopping map. By voting you can also have the chance to win one of a selection of luxury breaks for two.
