So long and thanks for all the fish
I have been running this site now for the last 5 years. It’s been fun getting involved with all things local, meeting and chatting to local residents and business owners and using the site and increasingly Twitter as a noticeboard for the town.
But priorities change and in the next couple of months I will be leaving Teddington for a new life in West Yorkshire.
If you are interested in running the teddingtontown.co.uk website and @Teddington_Town Twitter account, get in touch via contact@teddingtontown.co.uk and hopefully before I leave I can hand it over to someone so that it can continue to serve the town.
There are a few basics you might need to have to run things (particularly the website):
* Writing skills
* WordPress
* HTML (basic)
* Image manipulation (basic)
* Good knowledge of Twitter
* Spare time!
So if you have a smattering of these and are passionate about Teddington, get in touch and I will reply with more info.
