POLICE APPEAL FOR WITNESSES IN STRAWBERRY HILL MURDER PROBE

 

Team of police officers and forensic team search railway track for clues

 

A 19-year-old man, 20-year-old man, and a 15-year-old boy have all been released under investigation following the death of a 21 year old man at Strawberry Hill station, it was announced tonight (Wednesday)

A 16-year-old boy has also been released on police bail.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police, which is leading the investigation, said: “We have increased our high visibility patrols in the area and are working with our colleagues at Metropolitan Police to provide a visible reassurance to the community.”

Detectives continue to appeal for anyone with information that hasn’t been in touch already to reach out as soon as possible, via this link, or by texting 61016 or calling 0800 405040 quoting reference 630 of 08/01/24. 

In particular, Detectives are urging for those who live in the vicinity of Strawberry Hill railway station who might have seen or heard something, or captured something on their CCTV, dash-cam, doorbell footage between 11pm on 8 January and 12.15am on 9 January to get in touch.
