ARMED POLICE ARREST MAN IN RICHMOND
A man has been arrested after armed police responded to an incident in Richmond earlier today (tuesday).
The incident happened at the Quadrant at around 3pm today
The man was arrested in connection with the incident and was taken into police custody where he currently remains.
The nature of the incident is unknown.
A crime scene remains in place.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “At approximately 15:00hrs on Tuesday, 26 March a man was arrested by armed officers in The Quadrant, Richmond. He is currently in police custody.
“A crime scene remains in place.
“Not prepared to discuss further at this time.”
